Stephenson's Auction has two appraisers on staff - Cindy Stephenson ISA AM and Tom Wakeley ISA AM. Both are accredited members of the International Society of Appraisers, with their specialty in Antiques and Residential Contents.
"The International Society of Appraisers is a professional organization dedicated to advancing the theory, principles and techniques of personal property appraising, and to further the level of professionalism of its members in order to best serve the public's interest. The I.S.A. is the leading association of personal property appraisers in the world. Accredited members must earn their I.S.A. designation and demonstrate appraisal competency through a mandatory education and testing program. They are bound to abide by the rigid Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct, which embraces the highest standards of the profession. I.S.A. teaches an extensive program on appraisal theory, principles and practice, as well as specialty classes developed by experts in their respective fields and taught by professional I.S.A. appraisers.
